AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!! I just spent the entire day working on the plan of correction from our most recent survey. Why is it that the nurses who make all the mistakes don't have to have anything to do with correcting them? There really is no punishment for their mistakes. :angryfire

I totally agree, but at my facility we have the opposite problem. Granted I only work pt time/ prn, but I've been at this place for almost 10 years. Luckily I normally miss the surveys and we havent had many deficencies, but when I ask about them...no one knows. Us staff nurses would like to be included in POC. Instead, we are told.....this is how it will be! Maybe if we were allowed more input and valued for our input or professional skills things would be different.
I would love to work for some of you gals....
