Hey did you take the TEAS V at CRY ROP yet?
I rescheduled for the 19th. I've had the flu and haven't studied as much as I'd of liked. Did you take yours????

Hi Jen_Loves_Nursing . I just watched one of your youtube videos. You are so pleasant and down to earth. I liked how you mention that letter of recommendations are a HUGE plus to enhance your application :)
I also see that you have experience in ICU/ER. Do you work at a hospital now as a CNA in the IE?
I've been a CNA for six years in psych only and want to branch into the hospital setting but having a little hard time because I do not have any acute care experience.
Hi tasha...
Thanx for watching! I was inspired to make youtube videos because of other fellow nursing students nurses that make YouTube videos! I do havery ICU/ER experience. I worked at intermountain medical center in murray utah a year ago when my husband and I lived there. I worked on their surgical transplant unit. It's what truly solidified my nursing career future. I do not work in a hospital here. I currently work as a student nurse in a private residence. I administer my patients round the clock needs. He's a quadriplegic, I'm actually the only non nurse on staff, but because of my background and Th e scope of practise difference for cnas in Utah (and my childhood BFF is my nurse manager) I was hired. It's convinant for nursing school, and pays way better than any hospital could. Upon graduation I will get a pay raise for lvn and just keep my job (although am considering a nursing home position for further nursing experience) I'm really glad you watched my vids.. I have several planned In the near future as I will be taking my teas, interviewing and revealing whether or not I've gotten in to the progran! Keep me updated on your progress!!!
Btw... I love psych where do you work? I've Heard Patton Hires LVN As Psych techs!
Thanks Jen. Yes, I look forward to watching more of your nursing youtube videos. I have commited six years at a rehab hospital in Riverside area. I believe my job is hiring Per Diem Mental Health workers but I believe you need to have your CNA certificate. I will definitely keep you posted on my progress. I plan on staying in psych once I get my LVN license while pursing my RN.
