Popularity of the nursing program

Is the nursing program as popular with students at universities as it is in community colleges? I am going to a community college and I eventually want to transfer to a 4 year institute and get a bachelor's. I have no idea what I want to do but I know I want a bachelor's. I am having fun right now just learning, and figuring out what I'm good at it, and don't want to rush and pick a major yet. One thing I know is I don't want to be a nurse, and I think I am the only female in the whole school that isn't trying to get into the nursing program.

Nursing is just like any other major at a university

Thanks

If you know you don't want to be a nurse (whether it's because of your criminal background, your preference for studying law, or because you just don't like nurses), how is the popularity of the nursing track at community colleges or 4-year colleges relevant to any decision you make?

I don't understand why you are still coming onto this site and posting about your love/hate relationship with nursing. Continuing to post about how you don't like nurses and know you would never want to be a nurse isn't doing you any favors if you are genuinely looking for advice/helpful responses. Or do you just like creating conflict? I agree you need to figure a few things out before you decide to invest a lot of money toward any degree, but I think that counseling would help you a lot more effectively than starting posts which often end up being or becoming incendiary and getting shut down.

Best of luck.

Get over yourself.

Are you posting in a nursing forum because you are ruling out the careers that you don't want to do? Are you seeking information because you are naturally curious and tend to be an information seeker? If so, have you looked at a career that focuses on information seeking such as librarian?

I bet you picked nursing out of high school

Had something posted, but decided against it.

I bet you picked nursing out of high school

And the problem with that would be..?
