Can someone tell me about POMR charting? I've never heard of it, and it's a prerequisite for applying to some hospitals. Is there a brochure someone can send me on this?

You may have heard of POMR being called SOAP.
A problem-oriented medical record (POMR) system is frequently used in acute, long-term, and home health care. A POMR record consists of baseline data, a problem list, a plan of care for each problem, and progress notes. The POMR charting system is also known by the acronym SOAP.

They say it is here to stay. Of course I have heard this three time now....in the 70's, the early 90's and now in the 01's.
