pls help me get through with this..

Hi nurses! I took the nclex pn last friday. The computer stopped at 85. At first I felt that I passed cause I didn't think it was hard. Most of them are easy and I know I got them right. I did not get any math calculations, I had about 9 meds and I was sure I knew 4 or 5 of them. I think I had less than 5 SATA, and few prioritizations qs, most of them infection control. Now I feel that I failed because 2 of my friends are telling me that they both have a friend that has the same story and failed. I graduated as the top one in my class and had a 4.0 GPA. I reviewed for full five months and even went to a review center for 80 hours. I don't know what am I going to do if I failed this exam.. I really feel bad right now especially that I'm going through a marriage break-up. Pls help me what you think about my exam. thanks!

I'm sorry your marriage ended. I don't know if you passed or not, but it sounds like you did well based on your initial reaction after you took the exam. And what you will do in the event you didn't pass is study up and take it again. You will be just fine either way. :)

First of all take a deep breath, you can't go back now. Secondly the NCLEX exams are designed in such a way that the number of question really does not give you any hint as to if you have passed or not. If you felt really good about the exam its possible all you needed was the minimum number of questions to prove that you know your stuff and were done easy. Either way don't stress (I know easier said then done) relax until you get your results and know either way its not the end, if you must re-take you will be in good company as many people take it more then once. Good Luck!!!

Its so excruciatingly painful to wait fot the results...but there's nothing else we can do but wait...i took my nclex rn on the 29th and up to now nothing...T_T

Wishing you good luck and condolences on your marriage. Hoping you are able to move on to two new beginnings, the start of a new career and healing from your broken relationship. Good luck.
