Hi, I am a Senior in High School and I have made up my mind that I want to become a nurse. I just had a few question in helping me make a final decisions. I believe the correct term for the type of nurse that I would like to become is a "Neonatal Nurse".
What is the EXACT role of a neonatal nurse? and what is the difference betweena a neonatal nurse and an neo-nurse practicioner, obsteric nurse, or a labor-delivery nurse, etc?
THANKS SO MUCH!

You might want to try posting this on the NICU nurses forum, or browse some of their discussions as well as the OB/GYN forum... they have a lot of great stuff to say and can probably help you figure out the differences between these different kinds of nurses. Good luck in getting into nursing school and welcome! :)
