Hi. This is a question that is probably best answered in the Canadian Nurses forum that we have here at Allnurses. Good luck to you. I'll move your question there.

Welcome

Suggest a good read, the CRNE is totally different to the NCLEX and will need preparing for differently, there are study material available but not much and can be expensive

You can get Mosby CRNE Prep from Amazon.ca, lippincott are bringing out their version in November, I think. personally I found Mosby too much like N-CLEX but others said they thought it was good. I guess something's better than nothing.

The CNA prep book is the best one out there but getting hold of it can be hard. Their own website has a glitch that results in a charge of $188 shipping being levied for foreign shipments. I think they're trying to sort that out though, so if it's still saying that send them an email. It's by far the closest thing, although the exam questions are 4 times trickier!!

They also have an on-line test that you can take prior to the exam, again it's close to the mark but I found the exam was way harder.

Most of the books retail around $74-75 $CA
