I am nervous because I feel nauseated when thinking about the nclex.
I scheduled for nov 3rd
but my friend that just took it, told me to take it sooner because I will forget my material and test taking skills
my friend is the same as me, we always got the same grades, we even failed the math test together that made us withdraw from clinicals!
she said that this test, I would never be ready for, but kaplan is the way to go. that is what she did
I am nervous,
but I don't know, I am almost done with kaplan, just qtrainer 5-6-7 to go
should I keep doing questions after questions
or am I ready with just kaplan
please please
I need to know from those of you who passed with kaplan if
doing kaplan I will be as ready as I am going to be?
I am so so nervous, my stomach is hurting, I feel palpitations, and short of breath right now

I would say your good with kaplan, but continue to review areas that kaplan shows you are weaker in until your Nclex.
This comes from a man who has seen the beast!!! :)

How about some advice from someone who failed? Here's what I've come to believe:
Your friend is right. Nothing will totally prepare you for NCLEX. Mainly because they can pull questions from anywhere. Also because the computer's job is to maintain you at a constant 50% right/wrong level. No matter how well you do, you will not be prepared or at least feel prepared for half or more of the questions. That doesn't mean you can't beat it.
You can only know so much at one given time, and you'll have more of what you learned from school closer to graduation. If that is true then within the short time frame between graduation and NCLEX there's not much more you can do than brush up on a little content and get used to answering questions. Sounds like that's what you've been doing.
It's more important to formulate a plan of study you can stick to than to cover all the books or courses. There simply is not enough time.
Kaplan's practice questions are about as close as you're going to get to the "feel" of NCLEX in my opinion. Saunders is also good but since Kaplan is the tactic you used I'd stick with it.
What I'm trying to get at is for you to start convincing yourself you formulated a plan of study and that's what you're going in with. All the worry about what you could have covered is wasted energy.
I've been there and know exactly what you're going through.
Good luck. You can do it.
thank you! hopefully I will be able to tackle this thing. I am probably will reschedule for sooner.... this is as ready as I am going to get!
