Please help!!!!!!

Hey everyone..hoping you guys can help me out. Are the Kaplan online questions very similar to the NCLEX exam? I do much better on the Saunders questions. I started out doing well with the Kaplan, but lately haven't been doing as well. The questions seem so vague, and I always seem to pick the wrong answer when it is down to two possible choices.

Any advice? I take NCLEX in less than a week. I have been preparing for this exam in some form or another since before graduation in May, so I would think by now I would have it down. PLEASE HELP!! Should I delay the exam? Thanks. :o

You might want to read through the last couple of pages of threads....this question has been asked at least a dozen times :)

I think you'll find what you need to know by tooling around the message board. Goodluck!

I take NCLEX on friday the 7th and I have been doing the kaplan trainer test. I think they are alot harder than saunders. Seven people in my class have taken boards and they all passed and said the NCLEX questions were the most like Kaplan. Several of them even said that the Kaplan questions were harder than NCLEX questions. I think as long as you are making above 60% on Kaplan, you'll be fine. Hope this helps. It's souds like you've studied alot. As far as delaying your test...only you know if your ready, but hey is anyone every REALLY ready? Sometimes I feel like I could study til the cows came home and I still wouldn't feel ready:lol2:

Good Luck and I'll be praying for you

I always thought the Saunders questions were easy, stick with Kaplan or ATI

:yeahthat: What she said. :)

i JUST FOUND OUT THAT i PASSED TODAY... AND MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO DO BOTH. I DID MORE OF THE KAPLAN QUESTIONS MYSELF AND I THINK THE TEST REFLECTED THOSE MORE THAN SAUNDERS BUT THE SAUNDERS CD IS GOOD TOO. i ALSO GO THE BOOK PRIORITIZATION,DELEGATION,AND ASSIGNMENT WHICH i FOUND VERY HELPFUL.~THE STRATEGIES THAT KAPLAN USES ARE GOOD TOO. IF YOU CAN DO PRIORITIZING GOOD AND HAVE LAB VALUES DOWN AND THE BASICS YOU'LL DO GREAT. jUST DON'T FREAK OUT......STAY CALM AND RELAX AND EVERYTHING WILL FALL INTO PLACE. GOOD LUCK
