I just talked to a friend who failed his NCLEX for the 3rd time. I am taking mine on Tuesday. I am trying to think positively, but this will also be my 3rd time, & I REALLY need to pass this thing. I am kind of thrown off right now after talking to him about his test. So far, there have been at least 3 people from my class who did not pass NCLEX on the second time, & 3 who did not pass it on the 3rd time!

Positive thinking is a good idea right now! I really don't have any advice for you. except do whatever you can to relax until Tuesday. If, and I say IF, you don't pass this time, I would suggest that you invest in a NCLEX prep course. They are expensive, but they will prepare you well for the test. They are also guaranteed - if you fail, you get to take the class again free, and (at least mine did) are offered 1:1 help. I really think the test is as much about nursing process "correctness" as it is about actual knowledge. When you are answering questions - the most logical answer may not be the "correct" answer. The course I took helped you identify what answer they are looking for. Wish I could help you more. I'll be thinking about you...

Most important, get the rest you need this weekend! Spend a couple hours studying each day, then RELAX, fuggedaboudit - do something you REALLY enjoy (other than getting really wasted, that could be counterproductive LOL).
Ultimately you are powerless over what they ask - but you DO have some say on how you are doing physiologically.
Praying for you! xo
