I'm in the middle of studying for finals in Anatomy and Physiology part 2, and to say I'm stressed out would be an understatement! I have a question that is stumping me, and wonder if any of you know the answer. I've searched my textbook front to back, looked on the internet, and even emailed my professor (who I have yet to hear back from)! I'm basically pulling my hair out at this point
Can anyone help me out with the answer to this question...
Pregnancy is most likely to occur during which phase of the uterine cycle, the menstrual, proliferative, or secretory phase?
I know it is not the menstrual phase, but I can't for the life of me narrow it down between the other two. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Heads up, they are going to make you change your username.
Also, the third (and final) phase of the uterine cycle is the secretory phase. During this phase, the uterine tissue regrowth is completed in preparation for the possibility of pregnancy and the implantation of a fertilized egg.

Implantation (the generally accepted definition for the beginning of a pregnancy, despite the fact that conception occurs~ 5 days prior, and gestation is counted from LMP) occurs in the secretory phase. The menstrual cycle is hella confusing!
Thanks for the help! I agree, it IS confusing!
Thank you, that was helpful! And I didn't know that student nurses couldn't have RN in their username. I changed it but for some reason it still shows up as my old username currently. Thanks for the heads up :)
