I have a friend who was disciplined by a regulatory body in Canada due to unprofessional conduct. But his case has been closed after submitting all the requirements set out by RB in a timely manner. However, their agreement says his records stays permanently in his file.
the questions:
1. whether he’s still in a Good Standing with that RB or not? What does GOOD STANDING truly means?
2. He’s an LPN. Now he’s trying to apply to become an RN, would it affect his application? Considering it has been closed but records still there.

I am not a Canadian but cant your friend contact the regulatory entity for that information? Seems like they should be able to find out all that info there.
