Playing with fire...

Lets say you meet another nurse or a tech at your work that you really like and would like to date. But you can't just ask, because the other person is already in a relationship with someone else.

What's would be a good way indirectly find out if she is interested or is she just being friendly without completely letting the cat out of the bag?

    To be fair, we don't know what this gal's relationship with her current boyfriend is like.

    It may not be a relationship this gal plans on maintaining for the long term.

    Not every relationship is destined for the altar.

    Also, what is the status of this relationship?

    Are they under the agreement that they are seeing each other exclusively or are they just dating whomever they please?

    If she is interested in the OP, then she will make that obvious.

    However, if I were the OP, I'd have more respect for this gal if she terminated her current relationship before attempting to move forward with me.

    It would make me wonder how I, myself, would be treated.

    Not all work relationships are a bad thing, as longs as those involved know where to draw the line.

    I met my first husband at work and we had no issues in the work place... many did not even know we were dating.
