Pinning Ceremony Program Design Help

I am in charge of designing the programs to be handed out at our pinning ceremony next Friday night. I have printshop deluxe, but cannot find any decent graphics to put on the program. I want something dignified, and all I can find are cartoon-like characters and images. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

Tomi

what type of graphics are you looking for? does your school have a website with an emblem or something?

I just need something to put on the front. Our school doesn't have a logo. Last year, they used an old photograph of a nurse tending to a child. I haven't found anything similar, though. I thought about a nursing cap, but our school doesn't even require them, so that really doesn't represent our class. So, I thought about medical supplies, stethescope, pressure cuff, etc...but really can't find anything that looks tasteful. I am at the end of my rope!

OK...gotcha. I'll search around too.

Nightingale lamp???

On the front of our program we put a picture of our class in white scrubs. On the top it had our school name, Registered Nursing Program, year, etc. That might be a thought for you, unless you already have a class picture to put somewhere else in the program. Good luck!

Thank you everyone! I was using google, but "nursing graphics" was the one phrase I DIDN'T think to use. I think I am finally on the right track!

I have printshop deluxe

LOVE that program but agree nursing graphics are lacking.

So what I do is use www.google.com to seach for nursing images, save the image that I want as .jpg or bitmap to computer then use import to add to the program.

Search for "nurse icon" or "nurse graphics" or "nurses" will give you tons to choose from.

Good luck.

Searching "nurse gif" will give you cartoon like images while "nurse jpg" will result in photo type.
