I am a new nursing student, we are required to have a pin light. What type pin light do you recommend, and where do I go to get it?

Pen light. Don't they have them at your college bookstore? I think the disposable kind are fine.

I just bought a 6 pack of disposable pen lights on amazon. While I haven't used them yet, they seem great. They have the pupil sizes marked on the side and I'll have plenty of spares if I loose one.

Get the cheapest you can find and buy a spare or two. You can get them at uniform stores, amazon, the hospital pharmacy....

I got a little flat "keychain" flashlight thing and attached it to my bandage scissors.
Kinda like this one, but I got mine for about a dollar at a store like Walgreens or something. I purchased a few of them for spares, too, in case the battery dies or bulb burns out.
It's small/light enough that it doesn't get in the way of my bandage scissors or bulk up my pocket too much, and having them both attached together means that they are always on my person (if I'm missing one, I'm missing both -- and I'm not likely to forget BOTH of them) and they are easily identifiable as belonging to me -- if someone borrows them, they end up finding their way back to me.
