Hi,

I am really having a toughed time with Physiological Integrity..Every time i do my practice test in Saunders 100 items. I always get a low scores on this area. Can someone help me understand why i can't get it right? and if someone can give me a strategies or techniques on how will you recognize if you having this questions on the exam? PLEASE

I am having the same problem-- this is my weakest area. I am trying Exam Cram which is supposed to help focus on your weak points and continue testing you there until you improve. It's not really working for me yet, so if anyone has some advice I'd also be extremely interested in hearing it!!

hi! that's my problem too before i took the nclex, finally i fixed it, just answer as many as you can about physiological intergrity on different cd's. just choose a category according to client needs then physiological integrity. i focus also in integrated process, like analysis and implementation. i saw a lot of them in my nclex test and passed 75qs. hope this helps!

i know you doing great if you can fix it before the exam....stay focus specially in your weak areas.....i'm weak in sata and drugs so the computer keeps sending me.....thanks god! he made it!

I am weak on both of those areas....Physiological Integrity and SATA's. I am getting sick and tired of this exam..This is my last try and if i cant pass it...Im DONE with it...

i think the best way to destroy those SATA's is by trying to answer as many practice questions with regards to those, also you should read on your ASSESSMENT because in order to answer the SATA's you should know you assessment as well. I got bombed with those SATA's my first time (i finished with 265) and you guessed it right, the only weak part on my results was HPM.

It's all because of the SATA i guess.

When i was practicing questions, i do good on physiological. What i did, i study the disease i am unfamiliar with. You will really have a hard time answering a question not knowing the pathophysiology of a certain disease. In nclex, you need critical thinking skills, most of the time the disease is not stated in the question instead only its signs and symptoms. You better have strong content to make it to the nclex. Because sometimes, strategies don't work so you need to know the content.

This exam angers me so much. But i wont give up yet. I have one last try. I am doing Saunders 4th edition for content its really good and then practice test with that area i am weak...i will do this everyday until my exam day...

what content did you use?

I used Saunders and kaplan course book. I also practiced questions in content area i was weak in. For example Endocrine. I made sure i understood the normal and abnormalities in the endocrine system plus the interventions the nurse should make because these are often asked in nclex. I open saunders/kaplan book if i think i need to learn more. when i run out of time,i use kaplan. When i have plenty of time,i use saunders.

You can do it! Stay focused. God Bless yoU!

some of nursing content i used nsna complete review for nclex-rn, if i still need more understanding on the disease that is unfamiliar then, i go to saunders comprehensive review and compare the s/sx because some dse has more and some has less s/sx. i like nsna book too...
