Do you mean psychiatric?

  • anyone in or know anyone in physiatry nursing?

My son visits a physiatrist every 3 months for Botox injections for his CP. The nurses are top-notch. They assist with anything from the injections to coordinating care with the OT, PT, and adaptive equipment people.

From what I've observed-- they all seem very happy working with kiddos with disabilities. I know they've made our life a lot easier!

Look in the rehabilitation nursing forum here under specialties. There is at least one thread that tells what we do.

An LPN friend of mine works for a physiatrist.
