My DH is applying for Pasco Hernando Community College ADN program for Fall entrance 2013 and he has a 3.0 GPA in the pre req courses. We know it's not the highest, but are wondering if it is even in the realm of acceptance or if he is going to have to retake some courses for higher GPA and reapply.
Any PHCC students out there who care to share your admittance GPA?

To get into the RN program at PHCC the average gpa was around 3.82. That score is combined with your teas test score. You also get extra points if you live in pasco or hernando county. To get into the LPN program it is just based off of your teas test score. The LPN program maybe the easier way to go since his gpa is lower than the average gpa of the people being accepted to the program. Then he can just tranistion to the RN program. My gpa is 3.72 but i did not do well enough on the teas test to apply for the RN program.

Thanks. the GPA changes every term based on the pool of applicants and when we spoke to counselors there they did not seem to think the GPA was that high {it is at SPC}. We live in pasco and his Teas score will likely be high--he is an excellent test taker and always scores high on these types of tests. The LPN program is not an option. Thanks again.
what was your teas score?
