PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!
I think all of the acceptance letters will go out together but I am not sure. Mri was very boring! You sit behind a computer all day and there is very little patient interaction. Also there are not many jobs out there in the field. Unless you you like sitting in a office all day reading film and writing reports I would not recommend that job. The pay is great but you get very little patient interaction.

PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!
I just got a call from the admissions office telling me that I have not been a student for over a year so I have to re apply to the school itself. I maybe reading into this too much but I think it's good sign. The women I spoke to also told me the acceptance letters go out next week! By the way I am 36 years old I have been in the medical field for 7 years now. 3 years as a medical assistant and 4 as a mri/X-ray tech. I met the love of my life in the lpn program and we are getting married June 7. She is also going to be in the transition program. She has been accepted for a grant through the hospital and does not have to go through the application process.

PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!
When i was accepted to the transition program last year i was originally going to be at the west campus. I requested that i be moved to the Brooksville campus because it was closer to my home. I have also heard from students and faculty that the Brooksville campus was better. I am not even worried about being accepted and as far as I can see from everyone's teas and gpa neither should any of you. If was accepted last year while the emt were being accepted then we should have no problem this year.

PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!
I graduated last july from the lpn program and applied to the transition program. I was accepted into the program but was not able to take the nclex in time so I had to give up my spot. my teas was only 69.3 and my gpa was 3.8 so I was pleasantly surprised when I received my acceptance letter. I applied again today with the same test score since it worked for me the last two times that I used it. good luck to everyone.

PHCC ADN program GPA
To get into the RN program at PHCC the average gpa was around 3.82. That score is combined with your teas test score. You also get extra points if you live in pasco or hernando county. To get into the LPN program it is just based off of your teas test score. The LPN program maybe the easier way to go since his gpa is lower than the average gpa of the people being accepted to the program. Then he can just tranistion to the RN program. My gpa is 3.72 but i did not do well enough on the teas test to apply for the RN program.
