I wanted to know if it would be possible for me to work part time as a pharm tech(30-36hrs) and still maintain a 3.5 in nursing school (as well as my pre reqs)?
Is the daily duty of a pharmacy tech to hard for me to manage both?
Could i also find time to study in the department?or is it always busy?
all help is welcomed on the subject.
Thank you for your time

Only you can know if it is possible. It depends on your work ethic, study patterns, and course workload. In general, I don't think you should count on being able to study while at work. If free time comes up, consider it a bonus.
When I started nursing school, we were told over and over that working much more than a couple days a week would make it extremely hard to be successful in school. We were also told time and time again that working night shift would make it extremely hard to be successful. I worked 40+ hours a week on night shift for 6 straight quarters and maintained a 4.0. So it comes down to you and only you will know if you can handle it.

I work as a full time pharmacy technician at cvs and I'm also a nursing student. I have to work in order to pay my bills while in nursing school and I think its a great job to have. I can really play with my hours there according to my school schedule and once you finish your training and are there about 3-4 months you get the hang of your duties and it's not very difficult. It has also helped me a lot with becoming aware of the current drugs out there!
