Peth after 20 days

I'm not sure how I'll get thru this program - I drank 3 shots on ann empty stomach and then took a Peth dried blood test 20 days later.  Had not drank for 7 weeks prior to the 3 shots, so I'm assuming I had a negative baseline.

Will my Peth be negative most likely?  It seems so with everything I've read.  I tried to do a search on here for old threads some people passing after 14 days (as long as drinking not daily, because even 1 drink everyday will test positive I believe?)

I would suspect that it would be negative BUT the only way that you can make sure is complete abstinence; I know it absolutely stinks. Especially if alcohol was not your problem- however- the worry that comes from having an occasional drink was not worth it to me in the end; I had a 5 year contract and it was hard enough without additional worry.  Wishing you all the best.

Most likely it will be negative but there is zero guarantee. The half life is 4.5 days

I wouldn't try to outsmart the program.  Just do your time.  Good luck.

UPDATE:

I forgot to post - but yeah, the Peth DBS was negative.   3 drinks on an empty stomach, test after 20 days, no drinking the prior 7 weeks.

Peth tests are becoming more common since they are easy to do, drops of blood with a finger prick on a card and you just send it off.  There just is so many varying window of detection anecdotes from Peth tests that it's scary.

But everyone is right, it's just not worth it.  One day, what if a Peth is positive?  I'll probably get sent back to rehab for a "recovery reset" as they say in their terms.  Lose my job, have to jump thru even more hoops.

Oof we are human. I am glad you passed tho. I hope tho that this was a moment to sit and think and realize ***… let's not play this game because I did that same thing recently and there's just way too much to lose. Like *** my student loans. Hahahaha. You got this stay strong!
