personal profile for interview

Hey guys. I am going for a job interview nxt week. The interview invitation tells me to bring my portfolio, which i think is unnecessary. Then i checked the person specification and in there it says personal profile.

What should a personal profile look like for the nursing interview?

Sam.

why not phone the human resources department and ask them?

could include what experience you have, what your plans/goals for the future, any courses you have been on and outcomes

THe RCN has good guidence for a personal profile, in mine I have

1. CV

2. SWOT analysis (strength, weekenss, threat, opportunities)

3. Short term and long term goals

4. Reflections and review of learning experiences, including short courses and study days

5. Certificates, registrations

6. General develpment reviews from previous employment

6. Any personal thanks, cards and anything else that you feel is an indicator as you as a nurse.

You dont have to show it all and can take out personal bits that you may not wish to show but it can be helpful to keep records of it all if nothing else it documents personal development
