Per Diem

okay I have a question,if hired per diem do you get oriantation or is this basically you are on your own???new LPN and I see that some places are only hiring this way...

At places where I have worked Per Diem employees get the same orientation as a regular employee. Facilities usually will not put a Per Diem nurse through any kind of residency though. When working through an agency they will just set you loose without orientation of any kind.
