the peds bug has bitten me

I just finished my peds rotation and absolutely loved it i graduate in August 2004, will apply at out local children's hospital. they have an intern program - the 1st 3-5 months you rotate to different departments and at the end of this time, you select where you would most like to work. i will consider environment, type of floor, & schedule to help my decision making process. Are there any other important things to consider? also, what were your personal favorite areas to work?

thanks

WOW!! Sounds like a great option to explore areas that you are interested in! If you like fast paced, try intensive care. If you want it a little easier, try the intermediate care unit. Also, consider the place that will give you a set preceptor and a LONG orientation!
