Pearson Vue

hello all,

I just took the nclex this morning and i have quick question. Does Pearson Vue post the quick result service on saturdays? or just mon-fri? i asked the lady at the testing center and really didnt have a straight answer. I called and they didnt answer it either. just curious if any people knew from experience that they post on the weekends? gracias.

Results get posted seven days per week, and this includes weekends as well as holidays since it is all done by computer.

If you look at the website for Pearson-Vue, it mentions so many working days in case there is a problem with something, but routinely results are posted 48 hours after testing; and provided that your state actually participates in Quick Results.

Best of luck to you.

Yeah. I'm in NJ. Thank you.

They don't post anything for California grads. They used to, but only recently the BON decided to do away with that. Now we have to wait 2-4 weeks for our results by mail. :(

The suspense is killing me.

interesting. wonder why they would do something like that.

I don't know. Last semester, the grads COULD get results online, this semester they can't.

We were speculating that maybe they were handing out some false positives or false negatives. Also, i know the board is still waiting for my school to send them transcripts, but several of us already tested. I suppose it is possible that in previous semesters, people were told they passed the boards, but were academically ineligible to take them.

wow. sorry to hear that. good luck.

Ca has always been a bit different. They allow you to sit with an incomplete file if trained in the US. If PN then results are mailed to you before you pay for a license. RN is you have a SSN then results will take on average 3-10 days as long as file is complete. Have seen them take longer and some even received letters before seeing name online. If no SSN then you have to wait for letter which takes 2-6 weeks depending on where you live

This is actually not anything new. If one does not have a SSN#, then they are not going to see their name posted on the CA BRN site. If one has a SSN#, then results are on their website in three to ten days on average for the RN license.

The LVN exam is handled thru another board all together. And the license is not even paid for until they get their passing letter. Things have been very different with CA for years, not anything new at all.

And CA has not participated in Quick Results since I can remember, only about 1/2 of the states actually do.
