Hi!

Your threead has been moved to cardiac nursing for best response.

Just this morning I decided to get my PCCN. I called my faculty nurse educator who is a PCCN and asked her to recommend a study guide. She recommended one from AACN. It is what she used. I ordered mine today.

Core Curriculum for Progressive Care Nursing

Hi. I just recently became PCCN certified (about 2 weeks ago). All I did to study for it was I borrowed some CCRN Review DVDs by Gasparis-Vonfrolio and headed over to www.ed4nurses.com and got some of the downloads from David Woodruff (Fluid/Electrolyte Balances, ABGs, Cardiac Assessments, etc). Either one of them are good to learn from, in my opinion. The test didn't seem super difficult to me. I honestly didn't feel like the 2 hours it took me to finish the test was actually 2 hours, felt like half that hah. Good luck to ya.

I have my PCCN - got it earlier this year. There were these CCRN podcasts that I found on iTunes by Cammy House-Fancher who is excellent. It was a great review. I also used the book Pass CCRN! and David Woodruff's PCCN Success Program. I passed the PCCN exam on the first try.
