PBDS assessment module help

From what I remember when I started my job It was a learning tool only. It's not supposed to be held against you in any way. I think I did okay, hard to remember, but definitely missed some questions. Some of the questions are confusing and ask you in what order you would do things. I remember thinking i'd be doing all of this and yelling out for help all at once! Either way don't stress, you'll be fine.

Im told in my orientation packet that If I dont pass with as close to the model answer as posible it is wrong and if I dont meet a certain passing I will have to remediate...so it is held against me.. so far from what I have googled people are saying there isnt any proof this helps new hires or helps identify weaknessess etc. All this talk but no researched proof. So idk... ://

Seeking to 'crowd source' answers to this assessment is a serious breach of integrity. The sole purpose is to determine YOUR clinical knowledge & ability to deal with commonly encountered situations so that your orientation can be customized to ensure that it addresses your developmental needs.

So, why in the world do you want to fake this? I find it very disturbing. I am also insulted by the fact that you think those of us involved in staff development would want to participate in this by providing you with 'answers' to cheat the system.

What are you talking about????? I just googled it. I didnt know what it was and did some research, isnt that what any prudent person would do?? Breach of integrity? Faking what btw? Where are you making assumptions from? Providing answers? Im asking for HELP and CRITIQUE etc. I want to practice and pass this and be prepared to do my job the best I can. You have some serious issues man, think before you make such ludicrous remarks and assumptions.

In my experience it has been used as an assessment and learning tool. Yes you will be remediated, to help you learn the concepts you missed and encourage critical thinking. No stressing, most of it is basic nursing stuff.
