Ok, I was going over this pay package and am confused.
The breakdown is:
-$17.59 taxable
-$35.00 in meals/incidentals untaxed(which would be taxed for myself due to lack of tax home)
-$150 per month insurance stipened
-company provided housing separate
-$1000 completion bonus
My recruiter states that this would equate to $27.00/hr... how? I am not seeing that?

She is understating your pay slightly, probably by rounding to the closest dollar.
There is a nifty calculator on PanTravelers that can help you with agency offers. Here is the manual calculation. 36 hours a week for 13 weeks? That is 468 total hours. $1,000 completion bonus plus three months x $150 = $1,450. $1,450 / 468 hours = $3.01. $35 per diem times 7 days = $245. $245 / 36 hours = $6.80. $17.59 + $3.01 + $6.80 = $27.40.
I would recommend asking for the insurance and completion bonus to be rolled into your hourly. If the assignment ends early for any reason, you will be taking an effect cut in your hourly rate. There is no good reason why you should carry that risk.

If you don't mind me asking...is this a travel assignment? And it only equates to 27/hr? Please tell me you get housing stipend on top of that!

Sounds like you work cheap. Not enough to get me to move my RV.
