Hi, 

I've been a nurse working in the UK and NZ and have been in nursing since 2015.

A patient recently said to me God still loves. I am not religious but still have some thoughts there is something else that does care for us. But anyway it freaked me out. I respected this person's statement and thanked them.

But it really struck me off guard. 

Has this happened to anyone else?

And to answer your question regarding if this has ever happened to me, the answer is yes. I carry some things patients or their family members said to me years ago to this day.
