A 45 year old female presents to her physician with chronic constipation, fatigue, and cold intolerance which of the following could be the cause?

This is a test question i dont have the answers we are on fluid an electrolytes and upper and lower gi. Test is in the morning can find answer anywhere.

This is screaming Thyroid dysfunction to me..either hypothyroidism or Hasimoto's . Also look at the Pts age..female..in her 40s....fairly common for thyroid hormone levels to drop. There is not one symptom that is the clincher though.

I think it's hypothyroidism as well...

Cold intolerance seems to push it towards hypothyroidism. Was it on the test?
