Patho class

Hi,

I am really struggling in this class, and I need an advise how to prepare for it. I am barely passing with 81 and 79 in the first two exams and the failing grade is 77 in my program, I never get less than B in any other classes but this class really eating me a live. I like the material itself but when I go to my exams I find different type of information and it has nothing to do with the notes or even the book. Any advises would be helpful.

Perhaps ask your professor for advice on the best way to prepare for her exams? Find out how your fellow students are preparing.

Good day, fayassin:

Specific questions typically result in specific answers while broad questions lend themselves to general/broad answers. What are you specifically having trouble in with pathophysiology? Clinical manifestations? Common causes? Treatment? What's your current module covering (i.e. cancer, neurologic, etc.)?

Thank you.

It is interesting that you state "when I go to my exams I find different type of information and it has nothing to do with the notes or even the book". I felt the exact same way with Gen Bio I. How I overcame that and walked out with an A for the course was to get a different Bio book. I spent more time reading because not only did I read my original book and class notes, but I also read another colleges bio book. The interesting part was, after the second exam, I realized the questions that were being given appeared to have come from the new book I was using.
