passed Nclex RN 2014

Woo hoo. i took my boards yesterday and got results back from OSBN today in my email giving me a license number already and welcoming me to nursing. I checked the pearson vue website and it says results not available.

i didnt feel very good about it when I left yesterday beings I swear to god avery 5th question was a SATA question!! I thought I'm screwed!! Only had 1 drug calc question (which I wouldve liked to have more of..lol) a few meds and MOSTLY prioritity questions..

I was so sick to my stomach i went to bed early!!! :-) I woke up and low and behold a surprising email was waiting for me!!! the best news i heard in a long time!!

I shut off at 160 questions with a half hour left to take the test.

I was sweating because I still had at least 70 questions to go!

My school in washington had us doing ATI tests the whole year to prepare us for the boards. I did take a predictor exam at the very end and it said I will pass with a 90% on the first time taking nclex.

I didnt study Hurst at all studied kaplan a little but did quizlet and also downloaded an APP on my iphone called nursing care plans you wouldnt think that u should study but there are exams on there to study (i didnt do anything with the care plans..lol) It does cost $5.99 but I liked it. I also studied RN MENTOR LITE, just a little of Suanders and Lippincott. Apps I used on my iphone are the RX flashcards from NCSBN site and NCLEX RN mastery (this has mneumonics that are helpful). I also reviewed ekg strips (because i worked in LTC as an LPN) I graduated Aug 21 2014 and took 2 weeks off vacation (well needed!!) and studied some more took the day off the day before my test which was yesterday (Oct 9 2014)

Good luck everyone!!!
