Pass with a C or fail and retake?

Published

I'm really conflicted on what to do about my Anatomy class. I can either pass with a C or fail the class and retake it. The policy at my CC won't allow me to retake the class for 3 years if I pass with a C. I know that having an F will be permanently on my record, but it won't hurt my GPA when I retake it. Or else I can pass with a C and retake the class at a different CC. Any advice or opinions would be great!!

Ugh I'm on the same boat as you right now :( I unfortunately got a D on my bio course. And I'm not sure what to do either. But I have only gone with my "advisors" the general ones which I really should have origanally gone to a nursing advisor. Let me know the outlook! I believe there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Can you withdraw and get a W or is it too late to withdraw?

getting a C and no retakes till 2 years later or getting an F to retake it, neither of these is good.

How many more exams do you have?

you need to do well on them if you're planning on staying in the class.

Yea what you have here is a s*** sandwich. You have to eat it. It's just a matter of which end you want to start with, so take a bite.

Alternatively ask the instructor if you can do anything to boost your grade. Then problem solved. If you can't boost the grade, the dig into you sandwich.

Transfer!! 3 years to retake a course??? Thats insane!
