Does MD bon issue paper licenses nowadays or do you just get everything posted online?I mean just a license # online...

Everything's online. Which can be frustrating when companies ask for copies!

Thx eager1...

Everything is posted online but 2 weeks after all my online stuff went up (2 days post NCLEX) I got a paper license in the mail! :D I was pleasantly surprised since I didn't expect to get a paper copy.

If this is the same as I got 5 years ago, it's more of a congratulatory certificate and is useless in proving your licensure after the 1st year. MBON website confirms they do not issue paper licenses. Apparently they are trying to reduce their carbon footprint...

It's not so much that they want to reduce their carbon footprint as it is they want to reduce the number of impersonators.

So will we or won't we get paper license? I know what the MBON website says but is that true for initial licenses too? Hard when applications state that must attach paper license to application or upload copy of paper license.

You're not going to get a paper license. It's on the mbon website. They do send you a certificate you can put in a frame.

You can print it from the mbon website if you need to.
