Did you register yet?

Yes I met with Academic Advisor and registered. So We will meet at the orientation that will be held on 9/1.

I will start at Pace this September as well (the 1 year program). I don't know too much about the faculty. But I tried the "ratemyprofessor.com" site and read something about some profs. Did you register yet?

Hi everyone,

I'm considering applying to Pace Accelerated Nursing Program for Fall 2006. Did you apply to the BSN to MS program? Or is there a separate application process for the 12mth portion?

Also, how do you like the program? When did you put your applications in? When did you finally hear from Admissions? Thanks for your help!

I was not in the CDP program/accelerated program. I was in the 4 year program. Most of the faculty is the same I think. They are amazing people and can offer a lot if you just ask. I loved the patho prof. Many of them have numerous publications and they are listed under faculty of the lienhard school of nursing on the website. pace.edu good luck!

How do you guys like pace? Would you recommend going there even though its a lot of money? What is the reputation of the nursing school. Any advice would be soooo much help!!!

time flies, can't believe that i actually graduated from the program and passed the nclex and became a real RN. the program itself is very intense. it is still considered as a young program (especially the one in nyc) and a lot of changes are still expected to be made. overall speaking, i think it is a quite ok program and i did feel prepared when i took my nclex exam.:nurse:

Thanks for responding! Can i ask why/how you chose to go to Pace? I know it's a lot of money and that's my main concern. I'm really worried about paying off the loans. Did you enjoy the faculty? Thanks!

one major reason is that the program only takes one year. to me, the faculty is ok. some of them are really not very good instructors, but some of them are very experienced. however, you do need to be very self-motivated. good luck.

The 1 year program at Pace is great. It definitely can be disorganized at times but many programs suffer from this ill.

I graduated in August 2006 and passed the boards on my first try with 75 questions. I felt prepared for the boards as well as having been taught very good clinical skills.

The faculty is very warm and supportive.
