Pace University NP program - Fall 2024

Applied for the PMHNP program at pace for 2024. Has anyone heard back from any of the NP programs? Still waiting on my decision. And if anyone is already attending can you share your experience? Do you like it so far?

At least being waitlisted means very good chance at acceptance for 2025! Does anyone know how good pace is at finding clinical placements versus hunter and stony brook?

Hey, how do you know it means acceptance for Spring '25?

Doesn't mean acceptance I'm just thinking it means a better chance if you apply early for 2025 vs waiting until like February or something

When I had access to the Pace Portal I was able to search classes for Fall 2024, and it said NUR 801 & NUR 804 were synchronous from 9am-12pm and 1:20-4:20pm on Wednesday's. Now I don't have access to the portal.. not sure if anyone else does ?. Kinda strange I don't have access anymore.

And thanks for the info regarding financial aid, I totally forgot about FAFSA!

I am able to log into the portal but I am not able to search for classes. Is this the case for you or are you not able to log into the portal at all?

The only thing is that they changed their admissions req. for Fall 2025. You need to have at least 1 year of Psych experience.

Waitlist

How do you know if you are waitlisted? I logged into the portal but I am unable to find any information. What did you click on the website to find it?

How am I able to see if I was waitlisted or rejected on the portal? I have access but I can't find a letter. Where do I go to find it?

I got an email from Pace that my application has been reviewed with a link to the application dashboard; after logging in there was a decision letter button.

Hi all!

I'm excited to find that there's a thread going for the Fall 2024 advanced PMHNP certification. I just received my acceptance notification. The program is very expensive and seems to require more clinical hours and take longer than other PMHNP programs. As an FNP with 20 years experience it seems crazy that a certification program requires 2.5 years. I'm curious if anyone has insights into the program. Thanks!

waitlisted as well, but I have little pysch experience

Looking for other school options, any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Thinking about applying to St. John Fisher (they're based in Rochester but their pmhnp program looks like it's all online and then you can do local clinicals). Lots of programs are restricted for NY and don't accept NY applicants for some reason (I almost applied to Simmons, Regis, and Frontier which got great reviews online but they don't allow NY applicants). So besides this I'll probably wait to reapply to Pace, Hunter, and Stonybrook for next year?
