Pace University NP program - Fall 2024

Applied for the PMHNP program at pace for 2024. Has anyone heard back from any of the NP programs? Still waiting on my decision. And if anyone is already attending can you share your experience? Do you like it so far?

Nothing yet.

I spoke with friends who got into the acute care NP and FNP programs with Pace in recent years and they told me some of them got their acceptances in May so honestly to sit back and just be patient as frustrating as it is LOL

Did you guys submit for financial aid in the meantime? Not sure how to go about this waiting period productively..

It's honestly really frustrating.. I was very optimistic at first but now it's almost May so I'm looking at plan B if I don't get an acceptance. Really wishing all of us the best of luck, we all deserve a spot in the program!

also, how do you apply for financial aid?

Yes I am also looking for plan B because I don't know if there are synchronous classes which I am not sure how will work out for me because I work weekdays right now and will have to cut to Monday thru Wednesday once school starts.

It looks like the first semester classes are synchronous on Wednesday's from 9am-4:20pm.

I applied to the FAFSA site (included all the schools I applied to at the time) and then eventually got an email from NY State financial aid as well (https://www.tap.HESC.ny.gov/totw/) probably bc I put all NY schools. But it's all contingent on when I get accepted to the program so it's been frustrating waiting LOL

Can I ask where you got the info from? For some reason I thought it would all be online ugh

Oh. That might be my problem because I work weekdays currently and if I cut my work hours to be part-time I will still be working Wednesday. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

When I had access to the Pace Portal I was able to search classes for Fall 2024, and it said NUR 801 & NUR 804 were synchronous from 9am-12pm and 1:20-4:20pm on Wednesday's. Now I don't have access to the portal.. not sure if anyone else does ?. Kinda strange I don't have access anymore.

And thanks for the info regarding financial aid, I totally forgot about FAFSA!

Just received my rejection letter through the portal, MPH it is then ? good luck to everyone else that is waiting to hear back!

I just received notice that I am on the waitlist ??‍♀️??‍♀️

Thank you guys. I received my letter and I am on the waiting list but I don't expect that much so I have to move on and search for other universities.. What is MPH by the way?
