OU Nursing 2020 (Traditional program)

They told me the average GPA was 3.4 if I remember correctly. I assume that doesn't mean you can't get in with less than a 3.4. I've heard people say they've gotten accepted with much lower than 3.4. I don't know that for a fact though. I applied also. Science is somewhere around 3.4 for me. Wasn't sure what to do since I have to take anatomy over the summer on the application.

Did you apply to all three campuses? I apply to OKC and I'm thinking about applying to Lawton as well, I also have to take human physiology in the spring semester.

I wished they calculated all science courses for your science GPA instead of just four courses. best of luck!

I’m just applying for the OKC campus. Too far to drive otherwise.

I have applied! I was informed today that NursingCAS received my transcript. I'm applying with a 3.58 Cumulative GPA. My science GPA is about a 3.0. I've only made B's in my science courses so I am hoping for the best. I applied to the OKC location :)

Hey did you happen to get an email saying something about conditional admission ? I got an email about it and I’m not sure what that is about :/

Hey, I believe that it means that you are basically accepted! You just need to meet the 67 credit minimum for the prerequisites and maintain a letter grade of C or better in your remaining classes.

I was so unsure about that email and didn't know if it meant I got in or not, I even called the OUHSC office and the lady said everyone got the email, so I was pretty bummed out.

but it turns out, you were right it means I was accepted! Today I check application status, and it changed to "admitted". Yay! I hope you'll get in as well, best of luck!

I applied to the OKC campus back in November and am anxiously waiting to hear back! I know the application closes soon so I'm hoping they start making more decisions here pretty soon. I have a 3.84 cumulative and a 3.75 science. I'm hoping for the best ?

Hey, good luck to you! I hear it takes a month until they released the decisions (might be longer depending on the volume), but your GPA is really good tho, I'm sure you'll get in.

I paid for the application at the last moment. I guess I will see if I get in soon. If anything I will know whether or not to bother next time.

Not sure when I will hear something?

@truckinusa I heard it will be closer to mid-February before they start releasing decisions. It may be longer, it just depends on the volume of applications.
