OT: question about book

good morning! i know this is off topic, but i have a quick question. im taking this history class and we have to read these 2 books.."the minutemen and their world" and "the long bitter trail." im reading them and things are just not clicking. i miss my science classes :( anyway, im just wondering if any of you have read these books and if you would mind helping me out a little here to understand them a little better. thank you in advance!

I have not read either of these, but you might try doing a google search on them. Someone may have written something about them. Good luck.

I am taking non-science classes this summer too. I just finished a paper this morning in Psych. The topic initially was very boring to me. I put off reading the assignment and writing the paper until the very last minute.

In fact, when I initially read the information nothing clicked. Then I decided to use the same study techniques I used in A&P and Micro. Not only did I learn the information but I wrote an excellent paper. Maybe you should try the same thing?

I know you enjoyed your science courses and so did I. However, I am sure there were times information did not click at first and you had to try other methods to learn the information. My suggestion is to study/read the assignment the same way you approached learning information in your science courses and see if it helps.

By the way, this is not off topic since you are asking questions about a class. Good luck. :monkeydance:

I had to read the Long Bitter Trail, but I really don't remember it.
