Try the practice exams directly from Excelsior they are available when you register through Excelsior for an exam. Excelsior offers free Exam Content Guides for each exam including recommended texts and resources for students registered to take the Excelsior exams.

Excelsior is not affiliated with nor do they endorse 3rd party " tutoring" services. There is no guarantee that the tutoring/test prep center is teaching the correct exam material as they are not a service related to Excelsior. Not are these 3rd party services legally entitled to the non- publicly accessible exam content guides unless a registered student

yeah i seen the practice exams they cost like 75$ and you can only take them once each... and theres two to take ..

But it's worth it as it includes the exact content and format of the exam. They follow the content guides

Majority of successful LPN to ASN students at Excelsior used the practice exams. First exam before reviewing material, 2nd before taking exam. Much cheaper than repeating exams; especially as the policy is fail 3x dismissed from the program.

Some students used recommended text books , others used Saunders NCLEX-RN book, others use study group 101, or any combination of resources.

yeah ive heard of studyguide 101.. ima try that too.. so u take 1st practice exam .. and it focuses on content in exam... and from that u can study... then take 2nd exam to know your readyness??

Take first exam to see where your staring point is, use that as a targeted review than once you feel you are ready take the second exam to see your progress.

You can review both exams but not all responses will be there only the correct answer and if you got the question wrong, the response you chose.

Career Learning Center is not a "school" they are a publisher of study guides and a tutoring center, they are not affiliated with Excelsior and they do not grant credit for any courses - exams are taken through Excelsior, CLEP, DSST or Uexcel - which you could do all on your own if motivated and you'd save $$ by not using a middleman.
