online programs

Hi all,

I have a business degree and I have completed my science pre-reqs, I wanted to know if there are any online nursing programs available for non-nurses with evening or weekends clinicals. I'm looking at just about every avenue at this point.

Jewels, I checked last year and did not find any.

If you have a bachelors degree, try the online BS to BSN at the University of Wisconsin. You can do clinicals in your area (if you live in one of the approved states). Check them out at http://www.uwosh.edu Just click on the accelerated BSN program.

I can't remember the college name exactly, but I did come across a school in New Jersey that had an online program. You did have to come to the campus every Wednesday for clinicals. I don't know where you are located, but maybe this will work for you. I think the school was something like Ocean County Community College?

Good Luck!

Before you sign up for anything like the above. Make sure you find a clinical site first. Most hospitals won't let an inexperienced student in without an instructor.

Saint Petersburg College in Saint Petersburg, FL was starting an online version, but I'm not sure when their clinicals are.
