Online LPN to RN Classes

I have been an LPN for 5 years and I live in the lower part of Alabama. However I work in florida. What is the best distance program for me wishing to continue with my RN.

    There are a couple like college network and excelsior (sp??) but I havent heard the best things about the online LPN to RN. Make sure you research if you are considering this, I know a lot of nurses who have gotten upside down with payments but no degree with this.

    College Network is a publishing company, not an actual school or distance-based nursing program. Buyer beware.

    Excelsior College offers a distance based LPN-to-ASN program that leads to RN licensure. Indiana State University offers an online LPN-to-BSN program that leads to RN licensure.

    Also check that the school is accepted in the state in which you wish to practice. Neither ISU nor Excelsior College programs are accepted by the board of nursing in each of the US states. For example NY does not accept ISU and MD doesn't accept Excelsior.
