Jun 3, 201412 yr Experts Online LPN programs do not exist due to hands-on clinical practicum requirements that all state boards of nursing have. In essence, you will need to arrive to a clinical site weekly to learn the hands-on procedural skills that no textbook can teach you. There are, however, hybrid LPN programs that combine online classes with the in-person hands-on clinical practicum. You will still need to show up to complete these clinical shifts, which is why no LPN program can be totally online.
