Online FNP Programs, Spring Admissions

Hey everyone. I'm new on here. I have been looking into Spring admissions for nurse practitioner programs. I have seen places like University of South Alabama and Columbus State University, and Cox University and I just need a list of good ONLINE programs so that I work and still go to school on my time. Any suggestions will be great. Affordability also is one of my top deciding factors because I may have to be paying out of pocket for this degree. I have my BSN and am looking for 2 year MSN programs. Ay help will be much appreciated!!

Okay. Thanks!

I attend CSU, I will graduate in May 2017. Not sure they have a spring admission date, but they are a good school. My biggest recommendation to everyone is find preceptors early......

Good luck

Where did you find preceptors at?

I found preceptors through contacts that I have made as a nurse. I also found contacts by cold calls and reaching out to offices....

good luck

Hello Everyone,

I was hoping to get some insight into Columbus State University's MSN FNP Program. Do they admit on a rolling basis and do you know how many students they accept per term?

Also, do they require prior RN work experience?

Thank you for any advice on the program!

The deadline is not on a rolling basis. It's a fall only admission and not spring. The deadline is April 15. I don't know how many people are accepted, but from the site, they don't have a minimum year of experience, just need the GRE and 3 recommendations and stuff almost every school needs.

Thank you!

Are you currently a student in their MSN FNP Program?

No. I just got into Cox College FNP. I start in January.

I am a current student at CSU and I graduate in May 2017

There are a LOT of online programs with rolling admissions, and admit multiple times a year. There are definitely mixed reviews, however South University admits classes to start about every 6-8 weeks. For profit school though, you definitely need to do your research on it.

Also, a lot of university based schools admit for spring/summer starts. Delta State University, Olivet Nazarene, USA. There are several others. do a search on here and type in 'online FNP spring start'. i'm sure it's a topic that has been covered in the past.

Good luck!

I am starting Columbus states FNP program this January!!!!!
