I am a getting back into nursing after a 4 years. Does anyone know about these online cpr certification classes? Are they legitimate and recognized by healthcare facilities? Thanks

From what I understand, you can take the exam portion online, but you also need to test out on the actual CPR skills with an instructor.

Thanks so much for bringing up this topic. I had the same question but now reading your posting and the responses it helped clear up a lot for me.

I would suggest you check with your facility (or potential facilities) and make sure they will accept the specific program before you pay any money for an online program -- better safe than sorry.

I am looking into starting a nursing program in September. I have been wondering to if there is a way to get online CPR training. I could only find one place. Has anyone had any luck finding others?
Thanks!

I doubted it but since CNN endorses it well it must be good:banghead:. Seriously, go to the American Heart Association website and take it there.
