Online classes

Nursing Students Online Learning

I am interested in finding ADN classes online. I have some work completed. I was just hoping to find something that I could do that would work arround my family & work. I am a MA in a busy Dr's office. Any help would be appreciated ~Lisa :balloons:

Hi Lisa, are you looking for nursing courses, or general co-reqs like Anatomy, English, etc.

There are very few distance learning ADN programs. Excelsior and Deaconess (sp?) being the only two I've heard of. You can do a search on this board or in google for info.

Otherwise, I would check locally for online courses. Many colleges and universities have online classes that you could get into, and it would be cheap.

Welcome to the Board. Here is a link to Deaconess (DCN), an accredited ASN Program offered online. They allow you to do your clinical experience through a facility in your local area and require you to travel to St Louis MO at the end of each semester for a clinical validation of your progress. I just completed my second semester and will have my LPN by the end of this year and then will continue on for my RN while working in the healthcare field.
