I am not sure. University of Phoenix tried to recruit me but I read their reviews and it scared me. There were many bad reviews about them. I think for nursing it is better to get hands on experience. Online classes are more convenience but very impersonal and the nursing curriculum should be based on more personal interactions. You can search online and read their reviews. Best of luck to you.
I am not disparaging their education but I will say I talked to a recruiter at South University and it was a high pressure sales pitch and before I could even get a transcript evaluation finalized they had signed me up for classes and shipped me books.
I hadn't filled out my MPN for student loans yet and the recruiter had his supervisor call me. I explained that I hadn't made a decision about going to South yet, that I was waiting until I saw how many of my classes were going to transfer. He said something along the lines of waste of time.
That did it for me, I sent those books back and told them thank you for your time. It was a big red flag that they wanted to get me taking classes before they even got any money from me and were looking to get student loans before I even knew how many credits I was going to have to take.
There are a lot of online programs, some better than others. Ferris State University has a great online program. Very tough, a lot of work, but you learn a lot. I am currently going through this program. Good luck and kudos for continuing your education.

What are some good BSN online nursing programs? Reason asking is that I have heard that some are scams. Can anyone fill me in?
