Is it possible to do an online program if I want a BSN or an ADN without nursing experience? I have a previous bachelors and masters in an unrelated field. Thanks so much for your help.

I do not believe there is a way to do this. If so, I would have found it. I too have an undergrad and grad degree in a non-nursing field. I decided to go the ADN route, because I could get in without waiting 2 years. When I graduate and pass NCLEX-RN, I will go for an RN-MSN program.

I don't think that is really something that you would want to do, even if you could. You really need to have the classroom time for skills, etc. It is a key part of learning. Anyone who told you different would be doing you a disservice.

You check the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The website is www.uwosh.edu/con/ I hope this helps. Also the website www.allnursingschools.com will help you to locate different schools like online, etc

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh was the only one that does definitely does offer the people with BS degree in something other than nursing to obtain a BSN online. It is called second degree option. Check out the website on the above post.

I had emailed someone from University of Wisconsin and was told that it's for people in the state of Wisconsin and your clinicals must be done in Wisconsin.....

Our on-line program (ADN)at Columbus State Community College is for people with a bachelors degree in anything. You do lectures online and discussions and such, but you have to go in for clinicals and labs and testing.
