I also take mine the 18th. I've been studying since May 22nd, took the in person Kaplan (which I thought was a waste), then watched content videos & reading the book. Anything I didn't remember I made flashcards for. Then I took the appropriate qbank questions. I still have q7 to do, which I plan on doing 3 days before the test, and also finish up the section on psych. I took the readiness test in class, before I had studied all the content... not sure how accurate that is.

I too have reached my point where I'm tried of studying. I'm not sure I feel confident, but I'm hoping Kaplan's questions are a bit harder than NCLEX.

Good luck! Go in there as calm as possible and have the attitude of "let me show you what I know!"

what were getting on your question trainers and what is your % on the q bank?

On the trainers I was getting in the low 60s, but I made the mistake of taking them before I had done any substantial studying. On qt6 I had a 64. My qbank is around 68 right now with about 15% to go. How about you?

Wishing you good luck.

my qbank is only 63% and about less than 20% to go. here are my QT scores:

1 - 63

2 - 69

3 - 72

4 - 67

5 - 60

6 - 65

7 - 70

i will do my readiness test on the weekend, i have no idea if i am ready or not but when i scheduled my exam i felt relieved? maybe because i have studying too long for this test...its my first time..

Those scores look good to me! I've noticed that if i had read some of the questions more carefully I wouldnt have made such silly mistakes! At least that is an easy fix for me... slow down and concentrate more.

Good luck!!!

yeah me too it happens sometimes, what are your scores?

I think I mentioned this before, but qtrainer was a 63.. havent taken 7 yet.

oh my...my readiness test was 69%. i dont know how i should feel on this. i am testing in 2 days. i was just answering the questions like i just wanted to get over with it already. people have been praying for me for this exam. i am just a bit happy because my pharma is 80%, the little mosby book with illustrations has helped me i think esp with the side effects and the specific teachings with drugs. but my reduction of risk potential has gone down, i think i should focus on that more, reread that chapter again on the course book. anyway i told myself i will stop studying 36 hours before the exam. i have also been relaxing and taking days off before the exam, tallking with friends, praying, going to church and trying to keep positive energy around me. i hope i pass...

Took qtrainer 7 yesterday and got a 70%. At this point I finished all of the qbank and I'm going over the qt7 answers. I plan on looking over meds today and flipping through flashcards tomorrow. Really, I am not stressing so much anymore because I know I'll never be ready.

good luck to us kiky...plan to go to pray wednesday morning and just relax the rest of the day. stay on the couch and watch tv and some dvds...what time is your test on the 18th?

Best of luck! Mine is at 2pm. Where I'm headed has horrendous traffic so taking it at 8am would've been more stressful for me. (hard to gauge when to leave house to not be late, but also not terribly early either)
