Once graduated...

Published

I am not in a nursing program yet, but I was wondering once you graduate are you an "RN?", "LPN?" Or is there something else you have to do upon graduation?

It depends on what program you're in. If you're in a LPN program the obviously you'll be an LPN, if in a RN program then RN (ADN), if in a BSN program then RN (BSN). After you complete your program you have to pass NCLEX.

after grad from a program you have the title of "Graduate Nurse"

you then need to pass the NCLEX in order to obtain the title of RN (or LPN)
